Engineering Overview & Construction

The StoneAge® Warthog® WGR-1 1/4™ Magnum brings together 30 years of advanced sewer nozzle engineering to handle the roughest municipal sewer and storm cleaning applications in the world. Specifically adapted for the Australian plumbing and municipal environment, the WGR Magnum features streamlined 6-fin unibody construction, optimized jet dwell geometry, and fluid-controlled rotation that excels in both potable and filtered recycled water systems.

Pipe Size Range: 200 - 900 mm (8" - 36")
Operating Pressure: Up to 350 bar (5,000 psi)
Flow / Inlet: 190 - 450 L/min (50 - 120 gpm) (1-1/4" NPT / BSPP)

Standard Design Features

  • ✔ Controlled rotation speed maximizes jet dwell time on blockages for superior cutting penetration.
  • ✔ Hardened stainless steel body with replaceable carbide/ceramic nozzle inserts.
  • ✔ Internal viscous fluid governor prevents over-spinning and dramatically prolongs tool life.
  • ✔ High-thrust rear propulsion jets provide self-propelling traction through long pipe runs.
Warthog • CONTROLLED ROTATION SEWER NOZZLES

Description & Operational Features

Warthog® WGR-1 1/4™ Magnum is engineered by StoneAge® Waterjet Tools for rapid blockage removal, heavy tree root cutting, grease emulsification, and scale clearing across Australian municipal and commercial drain lines. Featuring controlled self-rotation, the high-pressure water jets dwell longer on obstructions, delivering dramatically superior cleaning power and faster clears with reduced water consumption.

KEY PERFORMANCE ATTRIBUTES

◆
Controlled Rotation Speed Governor: Viscous fluid governor regulates rotational speed to maximize jet dwell time against the pipe wall, allowing high-energy streams to cut through tree roots and hard scale instead of glancing off.
◆
Hardened Stainless Steel Construction: Precision machined from heat-treated, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and high-wear alloys to withstand severe abrasion in dirty municipal sewer environments.
◆
Replaceable High-Pressure Jet Inserts: Carbide/ceramic nozzle orifices can be matched and swapped to fine-tune operating pressure and flow to your specific jetting truck or trailer unit.
◆
High-Thrust Propulsion Geometry: Optimized rear-facing jet angles generate powerful pulling thrust to draw heavy hoses through long pipe runs, up steep gradients, and around elbows.
◆
Universal Centralizer Compatibility: Engineered for smooth integration with StoneAge® skid cages and centralizers to keep nozzles positioned in the pipe center for uniform 360-degree cleaning.
